I've been lame but...

I'm being a lame blogger lately.
I'm getting better.
I promise.
or i will...hehe
so the church retreat up at Lost Creek Lodge was this last weekend.
it was AMAZING.One of my favorites is when we were standing in dinner line and Nat Douglas, One of our elders at church turns to James Crawford in line after reading something off a sign someone had sharpied and said "DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOTT."
I almost died of laughter.
we played music, watched kids get baptized in the river.
sang.
laughed.
played a massive game of Croker where we were all sure Brian Aggett was gonna have a heart attack from all the running...
oh so fun...
everything. it was wonderful.
i love my church family.
****
Today i'm painting my room turquoise from it's Yellow.
It's been six months. I need a change.
my laptop can attest...i forgot to wash my hands before typing...
whoops....well it's a good thing i love this color.
pictures soon.

Summerlove

This summer has been wonderful.
I cabin lead with Gina Cole for Girls Music camp to start off...
that was AMAZING!
I loved every single second.
I helped with props for the play and was game director.
it was bomb.
then I came home for 3 days then Gina and Elena and I took of to Oregon for Katie and Stephen Mienzingers wedding. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL.
It was hot on the ride.
Budwig the car almost died.
things went wrong but it was amazing.
after the wedding we headed home...
Elena drove 2 hours and I drove the rest.
We got stuck on 1-94 cause of a car wreck and from 12 am -3 am we were BORED. so we ran around and harassed fellow trucks...
We gave our last will and testimonies on camera.
finally 3 am we started moving. the girls fell asleep for a bit.
I stopped and got COFFEE right before we crossed into Washington,
turned on some tunes,
rolled the window down a bit and just drove...we rolled in {after i hit a family of racoons that scared me.} to Gina's appt. totally crashed.
got up for church, we preformed out EPHESIANS thing, I played piano and butchered "The Love of God"
then took off for Shiloh Sleep deprived and all....{that trip with those girls, Gina and Elena, possibly one of the best and most memorable ever.}
HIGH SCHOOL CAMP
was amazing.
I lead worship with amazing people.
I loved every single bit of that camp.
then I cabin lead for JR HIGH CAMP.
We pulled all sorts of pranks,
Susan long my co-leader and I got on our roof one morning and pounded and screamed to get our girls outta bed..and then one morning we used a tambourine and screamed "RISE AND SHINE..GIVE GOD THE GLORY GLORY!!" {pillows were thrown.}
then we snuck into the other cabin and switched all of their beds completely around...then the next night we tee peed the inside of their cabin...the last night we Snuck into the guys cabin and put ALL of their beds on the roof. it was BEAUTIFUL.
then we collaberated with the boys' cabin leaders andin the middle of the night we met in the shop and got a chain saw without a chain and they put masks and robes on and one of them stayed in the cabin with a video camera so Susan and I started banging on the cabin and they burst in at 1 am and started screaming and revving the chain saw...oh my...little boys screamed and wet their beds. it was rad and caught on tape.
then Susie and I took 2 of our girls down to the fire pit saying something was desperatly wrong so our sleepy eyed girls sat untill Josiah and Josh in their masks chased them with the chain saw. oh it was good. but then Constance and Kari the two directors wives sewed my sheets together and stuck grass in Susans sleeping bag. {WE HAD IT COMING} it was amazing.
GIRLS CAMP.
oh my. My mama cabin lead next door so that was amazing.
I played my UH-MAZING cabin full of girls lullabyes everynight on the UKELELE named SAMSON. My girls were wonderful. I game directed that week as well and it was LOVELY. I seriously loved every second.
then i came home and Ruthie came with me and stayed the week. It was so fun. I had to work lots and lots but it was rad.
THE BEST THING HAPPENED TO ME....
I MET TANDY BELLE AND FRANNY.
AND I SAW MY DARLING RIA.
I seriously adore those girls. It's not even funny how much I stinkin' LOVE them.
amazing. EVERY.SINGLE.ONE.
***
I LOVE YOU GIRLS!

well it is late I'm a tired goose...so
I'm going to catch some sleep.
love you all.
glad to be home.
