Iowa is Amazing.
I'm attending Emmaus Bible college. Fall '11' Lord willing. I loved that place with my whole heart.
Gina and I met Tim Goff {and Deacon at our church} at 4 am Thursday morning we drove to Seattle then almost missed out flight because Gina had to potty and the flight attendant boarding lady lied and boarded ten minutes earlier then previously announced thus it ended in me booking it across Seatac air port with Tim holding our stuff anxiously telling Gina to hurry cause they are now shutting the gate. itwasawesome. MY FIRST FLIGHT. amazing i tell you. i love to fly <3 we flew into Chicago Il. at about 2:30 pm our next flight into Moline Iowa was supposed to leave at 3...so we ran across to catch it...then boarded...sat for an hour...un boarded...it got delayed due to some technical issues. we were stuck in CHICAGO for 5 hours. Gina and I wandered the air port after tim got dinner for himself. well they said we weren't leaving till 6:30pm so Ginal and I wandered till 6 assuming we had plenty of time...well they boarded a half hour early. we had to run to catch that one too....but then ended up sitting for yet another hour till take off. then flew into Moline at about 8:30....drove another hour to Dabuque then met my true love {outside of Elena} Emmaus. and I saw Kristy, whom i served at camp with in '08 all summer who is like my sister whom i have not seen in almost 2 years. and Lauren, my lovely Lauren, who we stayed with. We got up the next morning and headed to the college from Laurens appt. it was AMAZING. i have never gotten so much out of the bible in 3 days then last weekend. I loved all the seminars...and professors. i argued {respectfully;) } and had more amazisng conversations then I can even say. Jesus is amazing. the theme was "Quest for Holiness." Sat. morning we got up and went to the street market...and got coffee and banana bread. then conference. then that night Lauren and Gina and I went to Wisconsin and looked about. and then to GREEK food. and ate it in a beautiful park. saw the Mississippi River and fell even more in love with Traveling. Sunday we went to a little chapel in Eldridge Iowa. Then ate lunch at a lovely couple who happens to be the inlaws of an elder at our chapel. then we flew out from Moline, where Gina lost her ticket and had to get a reprint ASAP before the doors closed. i love almost missing flights. then flew into DENVER COLORADO. talk about middle of nowhere. had a hour and half delay there....Gina and I got dinner, then Tim went to get yogurt..well once again {not even joking} they boarded early again, Gina finally ran after him and when she gave the "1 minute till boarding doors close" call Tim and Gina ran around the corner, we picked our stuff up and ran to the line. 4 for 4 flights almost being missed? sucess. home again, to seattle. I asked the old man sitting next to me if he new Jesus on my ride Home. and he replied "BORN AND RAISED LUTHERAN!" we had a RAD conversation. I loved EVERYTHING about last weekend. and Emmaus. I can't even put into words. THANK YOU JESUS.
